Citrus Finger Lime Dark Red
A stunning finger lime with amazing colour. Dark Red is an excellent slow growing variety that produces medium length oval fruit. It sets fruit regularly. The caviar is a very attractive dark red colour and looks outstanding in just about any food combination or drink! It has a grear finger lime flavour with a slight bitter, grapefruit finish. Cooler climates will bring more colour to the fruit. Or fruit that ripen in winter will have the deepest colour. The tree is of medium vigour with a dense and bushy canopy.
Fruit Characteristics:
Size : 6-10cm
Skin : Dark green then turns dark maroon/brown/red red when ripe.
Vesicles : red to dark red (cooler weather) lighter red (warmer weather)
Fruiting Season : March to June
Height : grows to approx 1.5m in a pot
