The Story
Drosera coccicaulis or The Elegant Sundew is a carnivorous plant. With vibrant beautiful leaves covered in tentacles (trichimes) that secrete a stick “dew” to attract and catch prey. The tentacles ensnare and catch insects of all types, wrapping themselves attaching and around the prepay to make sure it doesn’t get away. The “dew” contains enzymes that  digest the insect.Â
They are particularly good at catching flies, mozzies and gnats!Â
Grow in a sunny spot in a tray with 1-2cm of water.Â
