The Story
Hydrangea macrophylla Hobella. It is the first in the Hovaria changing colour series. A beautiful and charming variety. It has a tender, soft pink initial colour (phase 1). After 4-6 weeks the flowers begin aging to green (phase 2) and 4-6 weeks after that, the flowers change into a cherry red colour that will last until frost sets in (phase 3). At first the florescence looks like a lace cap but later on, it will be a totally full flower head resembling a mophead. Every day you will see something new in this special Hydrangea. Deciduous. 1.5m x 1.5m.
