Protea Little Prince is stunning dwarf form of King Protea. Tough and resilient, this compact variety produces large plate sized flowers through Autumn and Spring. LargeĀ dark pink flowers, with a striking central white accent are stunning. And make a great nectar source for many honeyeater birds. The flowers are also anĀ amazing cut flower for floristry and can be dried.
Protea Little Prince is perfect for pots with its compact size of approx 1m x 1m. Perfect for small gardens, patio gardening, coastal plantings, specimen plants, and low hedges. They are stunning when planted in groups of three and in mass plantings.Ā
Protea LittleĀ Prince lovesĀ a sunny or full sun position in well drained soils. They have a low water requirement, but should be well watered when first planted to establish. They require a well drained soil. Frost tolerant. And coastal tolerant.Ā
Proteas are sensitive to Phosphorous in fertiliser. For best results we recommend using Garden Delight Rock MineralsĀ at planting and in place of a fertiliser.Ā
