The Story

Chonemorpha fragrans Climbing Frangipani is the most wonderfully fragrant climber. With a wonderful fragrance and flowers reminiscent of Frangipani. Nothing beats the wafting summer perfume of this climbing vine. It is a vigorous semi deciduous climber from the subtropics. But it does grow well down here in Sydney. Particularly in a warm sunny spot. And in a cooler climate it may become deciduous.
It is well suited to covering a fence or pergola. Its large, textured, oval dark green leaves provide a wonderful contrast to its frangipani like flowers. It loves a sunny position in the garden. With rich but well drained soil. So compost it regularly for a wonderful display of flowers all through the summer and autumn months.

We currently have beautiful large specimens available in 200mm pots.

We fertilise regularly with Earthlife Flower Blend through the growing and flowering season to ensure an abundant supply of flowers.
