The Story

Strongylodon macrobotrys Jade Vine is one of the most beautiful tropical evergreen flowering vines or climbing plants! It’s native to the Philippines. It producing the most amazing turquoise flowers. A colour that is very unusual in nature!
it is a vigorous climber. And flowers in spring on both new growth and also on older wood. They need a little maturity to flower. And our plants will usually start flowering 2-3 years after planting.

Not for an area with cool winters. They are a semi tropical to tropical plant. And love winter daytime temperatures above 15 degrees.
If growing it in Sydney you will need to move the plant indoors for winter or grow it in a greenhouse.

We have beautiful specimens available in 200mm pots.
